Twisted Calabi-Yau algebras and categories

Abstract: This talk will begin with a discussion of the string topology category of a manifold $M$; this was shown by Cohen and Ganatra to be equivalent as a Calabi-Yau category to the wrapped Fukaya category of $T^*M$. In joint work with Ralph Cohen, we generalize the Calabi-Yau condition from chain complexes to spectra. I'll talk about these Calabi-Yau ring spectra and discuss examples of interest.
